"Green" at your fingertips

Exhibitors such as OrtaAnadolu, KipasDenim and SoortyEnterprises in the Joker Showcase will present their eco-friendly denim fabric production processes. Many exhibitors in the functional fabric area will present innovative and sustainable products. For example, 63% of the durable tarps from Chemours are recyclable; The coffee oil used in the insulation film is extracted from coffee grounds... and this is only a small part of many sustainable products.

New product + new technology

As the innovation center of the global apparel fabrics and accessories industry, this intertextile autumn and winter accessories exhibition will present a feast of new products and new technologies to buyers at home and abroad. The sustainable development zone is an important part.

Take the research and development of Japan's Yagi & Co Ltd (5.2H21), and get the GRS-certified Recycolor recycled cotton as an example. The product is made from scraps of old clothing or garment manufacturers, etc., first sorted by color, and then used to open the machine to break the fabric to the original fiber state. In view of the fact that these fibers are too short to be spun, the manufacturer mixes some of the raw cotton fibers and processes the blends into cotton yarns that meet commercial standards through special spinning techniques.

The Chinese company Shanghai Changsheng Textile Products Co., Ltd. (5.2H31) is the new face of this exhibition. Its patented COOLTRANS transfer printing dyeing technology ranks among the best in related fields. This environmentally friendly technology can replace digital inkjet printing technology. Compared to traditional printing techniques, the water and dye usage of COOLTRANS decreased by 40% and 67%, respectively, while the reusability of used water was as high as 92%. In addition, lower transfer temperatures also reduce energy consumption by up to 65%. Both dye transfer rate and fixation rate are as high as 95%. Compared to traditional direct textile inkjet printing technology, this new technology is not only environmentally friendly, but also significantly improves the color rendering and fineness of the transfer paper.

OEKO-TEX+ECOCERT

The OEKO-TEX® pavilion (5.2G17), planned by TESTEX, has re-emerged in the Sustainable Development Zone this year. The exhibitors include 10 companies that have obtained OEKO-TEXSTANDARD100 certification and TESTEX customers. The pavilion's products include knitted and woven fabrics made of natural fibers, chemical fibers and blended fibers, microfiber functional fabrics, as well as embroidery threads, trademarks, RFID tags and other accessories.

Sateri, the world's leading viscose rayon manufacturer, is a new member of the pavilion. The Malaysian company Penfabric is not only a member of the Toray Group, but also a STeP certification. The company's semi-finished products are trademarked MADEINGREENbyOEKO-TEX.

In addition, the MADEINGREEN/STePbyOEKO-TEX store will have 17 STeP-certified companies displaying their products; these products are produced from environmentally friendly equipment, and the production environment is safe and reliable and socially responsible.

The EU Organic Certification (ECOCERT) pavilion (5.2H32) will debut in the Sustainable Development Zone. The EU organic certification as the organizer of the exhibition group is an inspection and certification body for organic agricultural products. Two of the pavilions include Shaoxing Yixiou Textile Co., Ltd. and Chifeng Dongrong Cashmere Development Group. The former specializes in fiber products such as organic cotton and flax, bamboo, tencel, modal and hemp; the latter will showcase a variety of sustainable cashmere products.
